About this site

Joe Benton Park is owned and operated by the City of Nocona. It's one of two free campgrounds the city operates on Lake Nocona (the other being Boone Park). Joe Benton Park offers a lakeside camping, but no hookups or dump station. It's strictly primitive, though there is porta-potty on site and trash cans. Additional Info: Campsites have picnic tables, fire rings/grills, and lakefront views. Pit toilets are available, but there is no potable water. Camping is free and first-come, first-served with no reservations required. RVs can access the area. Boat ramp available with fee required.
