Jenkinson Campground is located in the Sly Park Recreation Area, 2 miles from park entrance. All sites have forest views. Lake access is at Sierra Point day use area, 100 yards to lake. Offers tent sites, standard tent/RV sites, tent cabins, and yurts. Features sanitary dump, water hookups, and is big rig friendly. Vault toilets and water spigots throughout; water may be off in colder months. Each site includes picnic table, fire ring, and barbecue. Limit of 8 people per site. Additional Info: Managed by El Dorado Irrigation District around Jenkinson Lake. Multiple campground sections with 191 sites total. Proximity to lake for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing. 9.5-mile perimeter trail and waterfall hikes accessible.
