JEFFERS BROOK SHELTER (Campground) Additional Info: Adirondack-style backcountry shelter managed by the U.S. Forest Service in White Mountain National Forest. Accessible via 1.1-mile hike north on Town Line Trail section of Appalachian Trail from NH Route 25 in Glencliff, or from Long Pond Road to the south. Sleeps 10 people with three walls and open front. Jeffers Brook provides water source nearby. Primitive site with no fees or reservations, first-come first-served year-round. Privy available.
