Jackpine Lake Campsites
About this site
There are two primitive campsites located on the 63 acre Jackpine Lake. Jackpine has a reputation for good smallmouth. This is a good lake for smallmouth bass and bluegills. Some large yellow perch and bullheads are present as well. There is no drinking water available at these sites. There is an unimproved boat access located on the south side of the lake near site #1. This access is suitable for small, lightweight boats only. The access road is firm sand with some gravel. This boat access is intended for day-use only. Parking space is limited. Additional Info: Site 1 is located on a small hill overlooking the south side of the lake (45 ft. x 40 ft., suitable for two families with trailers). Site 2 is small and wooded on the west side of the lake (30 ft. x 20 ft., suitable for one family; trailers not recommended). Primitive toilets are available at both sites. Fire rings and picnic tables are provided. The campground is open May 15 through early October. Maximum stay is 14 days. Pets are not allowed.
