Ivan's Recreation Area
About this site
Ivan's Recreation Area Campground offers 21 electric campsites (including 50-amp) with flush toilets, showers, and drinking water. Located just east of the Red Rock Dam on the south side of the Des Moines River, across from Howell Station Recreation Area. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking, biking, and access to the Volksweg Trail. Managed by US Army Corps of Engineers. Open April to September. Reservations required via Recreation.gov. Address: 1125 198th Place, Knoxville, IA 50138. Check-in 2pm, check-out 12pm. Max 8 persons per site, one RV/two tents or three tents. No dump station or water fill-up on site; use other Lake Red Rock facilities.
