Ionia Beechwood Rustic Hike-in Campground
About this site
The beechwood campsites are about 50 to 100 meters from the parking lot, quite close together campsites. There are latrines, a hand pump for water, fire rings, and garbage cans. They are situated on a nice little lake with some poorly marked hiking trails around it. The park has a disc golf course, horse trails, and bike trails. Not the most secluded camping but still a pleasant spot. Additional Info: 16 rustic hike-in campsites accessible via an easy quarter-mile trail from the parking lot. Ten sites nestled in the woods, five overlook Sessions Lake, and one borders a tranquil creek. Reservations available by calling 800-447-2757 or online.
