Indian Creek Recreation Area is Louisiana’s premier outdoor recreation facility within the Alexander State Forest. It boasts 100 acres of developed recreation facilities, 200 acres of primitive camping area featuring over 5 miles of lakefront on the 2,250 acre Indian Creek Reservoir. The campground contains 104 campsites with water and electricity, three swimming beaches, three bathhouses, boat launch ramp and some 75 picnic sites. A 30’ x 33’ pavilion is available for rental and accommodates groups up to 100. Indian Creek is open year-round with winter and summer rates available. Free wi-fi for all RV campers. Primitive camping guests enjoy unique waterfront camping. Hiking trail is 2-1/2 miles long through mixed pine-hardwood forest.
