The Illahee Gazebo Camping Area is located in a quiet grove of trees near the famed Illahee Flats. This area has a vast history, from pioneer homesteaders to Native American gatherings. Additional Info: Located within Umpqua National Forest on ancestral homelands of the Umpqua, Southern Molalla, Yoncalla, and Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians. The site was used by the Civilian Conservation Corps between 1920-1940. Access via gravel road 4760 (east of Dry Creek Store, off Highway 138) for 1.6 miles; turn right on spur road 039 and travel a short distance to the Flats.
