Idyllwild Campground is a developed campground operated by California State Parks within Mount San Jacinto State Park. Located directly in the town of Idyllwild next to the park headquarters and ranger station, it offers 28-34 sites including tent, RV/trailer (up to 24-25 feet), hike/bike, electric hookup (30 amp, sites 1-6, 26, 28), and some full hookup sites. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, coin-operated showers, picnic tables, fire rings/grills, and firewood for sale. Maximum 2 vehicles and 8 people per site. Open year-round with reservations via ReserveCalifornia.com. Access to hiking trails, mountain biking, and local shops/restaurants.
