3 hike-in campsites- picnic tables only. No FS provided fire appliances, no toilets, no trash receptacles, no piped water available. No water. Please bring enough water for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and extinguishing campfires. Pack it in - Pack it out! Additional Info: Elevation: 2,500 feet. Located in Big Santa Anita Canyon along the historic Idlehour Trail, approximately 1.5 miles from the Chantry Flat trailhead. Seasonal stream water available but must be treated or filtered before use. Year-round access requires Adventure Pass/America the Beautiful Pass and California Campfire Permit. Currently closed through December 31, 2025 due to Eaton Fire closure.
