Ideal Lake is 146 ha. (361 ac.) in size and can be accessed by following the road leading south from Specs Lakes. Ideal is considered an excellent family lake providing fishermen with good quantities of smaller Rainbows. Additional Info: The recreation site features multiple campsites scattered throughout the area, including a group camping area with 6 fire pits. The access road (off Philpot/Aberdeen Road) is rough with deep potholes and becomes muddy during wet seasons. Trails are available for hiking and walking. No cell coverage at the site. Fishing is available. RVs are accommodated.
