Hurricane River Upper Campground
About this site
Hurricane River Upper Campground is one of two sections of Hurricane River Campground in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, with 10 sites tucked back in the woods offering a woodsy experience with deciduous trees between sites. Amenities include potable water, pit toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings. Sites accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs up to approximately 42 feet, with no electric, water, or sewer hookups. Generator use is prohibited in sites 4-7. The campground is rustic, close to Lake Superior beach, and serves as access to trails including the Au Sable Light Station.
