Hurricane Cliffs Designated Dispersed Camping Area is a BLM-managed free camping area with 56 designated numbered sites. Sites are offered on a first-come, first-served basis with a 14-day occupancy limit per 28-day period. Each site is delineated with a numbered placard and metal fire ring. All sites are suitable for tent camping but not all sites are accessible to RVs or trailers. Restrooms are located at nearby Sheep Bridge Trailhead, Jem Trailhead, and Virgin Dam Trailhead. Campers should pack all water and plan for primitive conditions. Local roads may become impassable during wet weather. Primary access is via Utah State Highway 59 and State Highway 9, east of Hurricane, UT. The area is located approximately 15-20 minutes from Zion National Park and is popular with mountain bikers and RV travelers exploring southern Utah's red rock country.
