HUGHES MILL (Campground) Additional Info: Hughes Mill Campground is a small, remote site at 8,100 feet elevation in the San Mateo Mountains on the Magdalena Ranger District of Cibola National Forest. It has 2 developed campsites plus dispersed camping opportunities. Vault toilets are available but no potable water. It serves as a trailhead for the Hughes Mill Trail to Mt. Withington Lookout. First-come, first-served with no reservations.
