Overview THIS FACILITY IS NOT RESERVABLE. Recreation Facilities Natural Features Nearby Attractions Additional Info: Houston Recreation Area is a day-use facility on Lake Lewis Smith in William B. Bankhead National Forest. It offers 14 picnic sites, a group shelter for up to 50 persons, showers, drinking water, swimming beach, hiking trails, and a boat launch. Campground portion is closed to the public. Day-use parking $4 per vehicle May 5th - September 30th. Boat ramp $4 per vehicle year-round. Pavilion $20 (1-50 people) plus $4 day use per vehicle May 1 - Oct 31.
