Two lean-tos and tent sites Additional Info: Huge shelter area on the Appalachian Trail in Bigelow Range with 2-3 lean-tos (including one CCC day-use lean-to), several tent sites (plattes), 2 privies, spring water source (filter required), and food storage buckets. Free, first-come-first-served. No fires except possibly at specific lean-to rings. Accessed via ~4-5 mile hike from Route 27 parking area.
