Hope Valley Resort and Campground is located 1.25 miles east of Highways 88/89 Picketts Junction in Hope Valley, just south of Lake Tahoe in Alpine County, California. The facility offers full RV hookups, drive-in and walk-in campsites, a Classic 1947 Spartan trailer, and Hope Valley House (a three-bedroom/two-bath accommodation). It is operated under a special use permit with the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest as a sister resort of Sorensen's Resort. The campground opens the first day of fishing season (last weekend in April) through September, weather permitting. Hope Valley Café and Market is open year-round. Guests can participate in outdoor programs and events through Sorensen's.
