About this site
Home Gulch Campground has 15 campsites along the North Fork of the Sun River in Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest. Good fishing for rainbow and westslope cutthroat trout. Hiking nearby on the Mortimer Gulch National Recreation Trail. Motorized and non-motorized boat access at the boat launch. Bears may frequent the area; keep all food out of sight in approved containers and remove all food from area after eating. Mandatory food storage is required. Varies-late spring to early fall. Contact District Office to verify status. Open 24 hours/day. Overnight Use: Single Site: $10 per night. Additional Vehicle: $5 per night. $10/night for single unit & $5.00/night for extra vehicle. Vault toilet(s). Potable water is not available at this site.
