Highbank Lake Campground
About this site
Highbank Lake Campground is located on a 20-acre lake completely surrounded by National Forest System land in the Huron-Manistee National Forests near Bitely, Michigan. This is a popular campground for anglers and hikers. The beach is very swim friendly with a shallow sandy bottom. The campground features 9 sites, some right on the lake and others nestled in the woods. Basic amenities include vault toilets and a dumpster for trash disposal. Potable water is not available on-site. The campground is open seasonally from May 13 to September 5. Nearby recreation includes the North Country National Scenic Trail and Sawkaw Lake.
