High Bluff Campground Lake Talquin State Forest

High Bluff Campground is in Lake Talquin State Forest (Gadsden County), on the northern side of Lake Talquin, about 20 miles west of Tallahassee, FL. All campsites are primitive and have no electric or water. Most campsites are tent and RV accessible. Other facilities here include a: fishing pier, boat ramp and restroom. Horse camping is allowed. Must be self-sufficient and must tie out or bring your own portable corral. Recreational activities featured here are: fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, picnicking, bird watching, wildlife viewing and photography. Additional Info: 19 primitive campsites, each with picnic table and fire ring or grill. Vault toilets available. Maximum driveway lengths 24-36 feet. Reservations available through Florida Forest Service. Open year-round unless closed for weather events.
