Hennepin Canal Lock 21 Equestrian Campground
About this site
Equestrian campground located on the south side of Lock 21's day use area at Hennepin Canal State Trail. Class C primitive camping without showers or electricity. Vehicular access permitted for tents, RVs, and pop-ups. First-come, first-served with fees collected in-person by site security officer. Toilets available. No hookups or dump stations. Drinking water unavailable at Lock 21 (nearest at visitor center). Equestrian trail users must clean up after horses; no tethering to trees. Horse trails open April 15 to October 31.
