HELL HOLE CG Additional Info: Walk-in tent campground with 10 sites at 5,200 feet elevation in Eldorado National Forest. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Located 22 miles east of Georgetown on Wentworth Springs Road, then 29 miles northeast on Forest Highway 2 (Eleven Pines Road) to just before Hell Hole Reservoir. No water available; bring your own drinking water or water filter. Trailers not recommended due to limited parking. Pets allowed on leash. Seasonally open May 15 through November 1 (dates affected by snowfall). First-come, first-served. $5 per site (reduced 50% from $10). No showers, no hookups, no dump station nearby. Fire rings available. Bear boxes not available; keep all food and garbage contained.
