Hazel Creek is a developed campground in Sly Park Recreation Area near Jenkinson Lake in the Sierra Nevada foothills. It offers forested sites with pine and oak trees, close to other campgrounds like Rainbow. All campsites include a picnic table, fire ring, and BBQ grill. Sites are reservable, with check-in at 2:00 PM and check-out at noon. Limit of 8 people and 2 vehicles per site; additional vehicles, pets, and boats paid on arrival. Located near hiking trails in Eldorado National Forest and lake activities like fishing and boating. Additional Info: Hazel Meadow area located 3.5 miles from park entrance, with forest views 100 yards to lake. Trailer sites allow one trailer per site.
