Hayes-Modern Campground
About this site
Hayes-Modern Campground is the modern campground loop in W.J. Hayes State Park, set along Round Lake and divided into west and east loops. It offers 180 campsites with asphalt pads and 20- or 30-amp electrical service. Sites 1-10 have full water hookups. There are two mini cabins (sites 85 and 87) and two tiny houses, each sleeping four with electricity, picnic tables, and fire pits. The park features a swimming beach on Wampler's Lake, boating access sites, fishing pier, trails, and rentals for bikes, kayaks, and paddleboards.
