Hayes-Modern Campground is the modern campground in W. J. Hayes State Park, set along Round Lake and divided into west and east loops. It has 180 campsites and 2 mini cabins. All sites have asphalt pads with 20- or 30-amp electrical service. Sites 1-10 offer full water hookup. There is a designated swimming beach on Wamplers Lake in the day-use area.
