Dispersed camping Additional Info: Hartman Rocks Recreation Area includes 50 designated dispersed campsites across over 14,000 acres of BLM-managed public land. All sites are first come, first serve with no fees. Dry/primitive campsites with no hookups, potable water, or developed facilities. One designated ADA campsite is located along BLM Road 3500. Accessible restrooms are available at The Base Area and at the intersection of BLM Roads 3505 and 3500. The area features 45 miles of singletrack trails and 45 miles of roads. Roads and trails south of Powerline Road are closed March 15–May 15 for Gunnison Sage-grouse conservation.
