Hart Lake is a remote backpacking destination in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, reached by a 9-mile roundtrip trail from Holden Village with 1,000 feet elevation gain. The trail passes through woods, a valley with rocky peaks, cascading waterfalls, and arrives at a jade green lake. There is a small hike-in campground near the trailhead close to Holden Village and additional sites at the lake.
