The campground divides into two distinct areas: a big-rig section with paved pull-through sites and limited shade, and a smaller wooded area accommodating travel trailers up to 34 feet. Sites include utility hookups (electric, water, sewer) and premium patio sites with concrete pads and furniture. Amenities include a seasonal pool, mini golf, playground equipment, K-9 dog park, game room, snack bar, camp store, and coffee shop. The location provides easy access to regional Civil War history sites, with downtown Harpers Ferry accessible via shuttle from the adjacent visitor center. Antietam Battlefield is within 30 minutes, and Gettysburg, Baltimore, and Washington DC are within an hour. Seasonal activities include pancake breakfasts, wine tastings, and Civil War reenactments. Kayaking on the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers is available in the area.
