HARDSCRABBLE CAMPGROUND (Campground) Additional Info: Hardscrabble Campground is a small Forest Service site with 6 campsites along the Middle Fork Payette River in Boise National Forest at 3,215 feet elevation. It offers first-come, first-served access with vault toilets and drinking water available. Three sites accommodate RVs up to 30 feet; others suited for tents. Popular for fishing, hiking, and river activities amid Douglas fir and lodgepole pine.
