Overview This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature. If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service. contact_info For facility specific information, please call (303) 647-2366. Additional Info: Handcart Campground has 10 sites available for tent camping only, surrounded by lodgepole pine trees off Park County Route 60 from US Hwy 285. Full services from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend; extended season with limited services (water, trash, host) in fall, winter, spring, weather dependent. Check-in 2 p.m., check-out 12 p.m., quiet hours 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Maximum 8 people, 2 tents, 2 vehicles per site ($24/night, $11 for third vehicle). Dogs leashed. Vault toilets, drinking water, trash, picnic tables, fire pits.
