About this site

Dispersed camping area attached to a trailhead in the Fremont-Winema National Forest. The amenities at the trailhead include parking, room for trailer turnaround, one vault toilet, and trail signage. There is no garbage receptacles available; visitors must adhere to the 'pack it in and pack it out' principle. The campground is adjacent to the upper Sycan River, a designated National Wild and Scenic River. Open season: June 15 - October 15. Free, first-come-first-served camping.
