Hairy Springs Campsite #8 (also known as site 008) is a primitive backpacking site in the northern section of Michaux State Forest, Pennsylvania. It features a stone fire ring and picnic table, with ample space for tents. A long hike is required from the vehicle parking area. Free camping with required registration (online or at the ranger/district office) for up to 7 days. Additional Info: Part of 47 numbered backcountry campsites in Michaux State Forest. Great water source nearby from Boy Scouts trail area.
