H.R. Pine Loop

Located within Hardin Ridge Recreation Area, this loop offers electric, non-electric sites, and walk-in sites, a showerhouse and is open April thru October. See Recreation.gov for reservations. Additional Info: Pine Loop is one of six campground loops at Hardin Ridge Recreation Area, a 1,200-acre recreational complex on the shores of Monroe Lake in Hoosier National Forest. The loop features a mix of standard electric sites, RV electric sites, and non-electric sites, as well as walk-in tent sites. The campground sits in a well-shaded hardwood forest with modern amenities including centralized water, flush toilets, and hot showers. Each campsite includes a table and fire pit. Generators are not permitted in Pine Loop. The 2-mile Hardin Ridge Trail provides access for hiking and biking. Two picnic areas with shelter houses overlook the lake.
