Green Mountain Campground

About this site

Green Mountain Campground is located southwest of Denver at an elevation of 7,500 feet. South Fork Buffalo Creek runs through the campground and there are numerous nonmotorized, multi-use trails nearby. All sites are first-come, first-served and must be occupied to be considered non-vacant. Check in: 2 p.m. Check out: 12 p.m. The following restrictions apply: A maximum eight people, two tents and two vehicles per site. Dogs must be leashed at all times. No discharge of firearms or fireworks. Only licensed vehicles can operate inside campground. Camping is not allowed behind a locked gate. Note: Green Mountain Campground is open to TENTS ONLY. $24 fee per site for overnight tent camping. Two vehicles per site are included in the camping fee. $11 fee for a third vehicle. $11 fee for day use if not camping overnight. Fees are payable by cash, check or money order.
