Green Canyons sits along scenic Salmon River nestled in old growth. ; There are several hiking trails nearby including those that take you to the surrounding Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness. Located in the canyon carved by the Wild and Scenic Salmon River. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $25 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $8 per night Additional Info: Green Canyon Campground has 15 sites suitable for tents and RVs. Maximum vehicle length is 22 feet. Sites 7-15 are closest to the river. Rustic facilities include vault toilets but no potable water or showers. Operates first-come, first-served with a seasonal gate closing access in winter. Open approximately April 20 to October 13.
