Grebe Lake East (4G5) is a designated backcountry campsite in Yellowstone National Park, accessible via a 3-mile hike from the Grebe Lake Trailhead on the Norris-Canyon Road. Backcountry permit required for overnight camping. Campfires allowed only in established fire rings; extinguish completely. Food storage required in bear-resistant containers or hung 10 feet above ground and 4 feet from sides. Grizzly bears frequent the area. Additional Info: One of four backcountry sites at Grebe Lake. Connects to Howard Eaton Trail and other trails for further exploration.
