About this site

Grave Creek Campground is a small, primitive campground located approximately 4 miles north of Fortine in the Kootenai National Forest. The campground features 4 campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, and can accommodate RVs up to 20 feet in length. Situated along Grave Creek near a historical dam site, the campground is surrounded by dense forest and offers exceptional opportunities for viewing flora and fauna. This no-fee, first-come, first-served campground provides a quiet base for exploring the nearby Ten Lakes Scenic Area. Fishing is available in Grave Creek and nearby streams. The campground is managed from Memorial Day through Labor Day but remains accessible year-round depending on weather and road conditions. Visitors should come prepared to pack in and pack out all trash. No potable water is available on-site; campers must treat or filter water from nearby sources. The campground features vault toilets and allows pets on leash. A 16-day stay limit applies to all National Forest System lands.
