Grasshopper Campground
About this site
Grasshopper Campground is the only developed campground in the Castle Mountains, 11 miles from White Sulphur Springs. It has 12 campsites above Grasshopper Creek on a scenic hillside. Potable water is available during warmer months, vault toilets, fire rings/grills, and picnic tables at each site. Maximum trailer length 22 feet; not suitable for large RVs. First-come, first-served with $10/night fee paid at self-serve station. 16-day stay limit. Leashed dogs welcome; no horses. Open 24 hours; usually closes early December. Additional Info: Access from White Sulphur Springs: east 6 miles on US 12, south 4 miles on Forest Road 211.
