Grapevine Hills Campsite 4 (GH-4) is a primitive roadside backcountry campsite in Big Bend National Park, located at the end of the rough Grapevine Hills dirt road, 7.7 miles from pavement, requiring high clearance vehicle access. No trailers allowed. Accommodates 2 vehicles (max length 25 feet), 6 people. Offers views of Grapevine Hills, Rosillos Mountains, Deadhorse Mountains, and Sierra del Carmen. No shade, toilets, water, or other amenities provided. Generators prohibited. Additional Info: Road to GH-3 and GH-4 is very rough; do not attempt with passenger car, minivan, RV, or trailer. Moderate ground cover and low shrubs near site due to proximity to Grapevine Spring.
