Granite Flat Campground - Group Site 060
About this site
Granite Flat Campground is part of Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, offering three group sites and several single and double-family sites. Picnic tables and campfire rings are provided, as are vault toilets. Horseshoe pits and a grassy baseball field are located on-site. Roads and parking spurs are paved. The campground is situated among dense stands of aspen, Douglas fir, spruce and pine trees at an elevation of 6,400 feet. Rugged Wasatch peaks surround the area. Wildlife and summer wildflowers are abundant. Additional Info: Site 060 is in Spike Camp Loop, Area B, a standard nonelectric site.
