Governor Jim Hogg City Park is a 27-acre urban oasis that pays tribute to James Stephen Hogg, Texas's first native-born governor who served from 1891 to 1895. The park features 21 RV sites with full hookups available. Visitors can enjoy a delightful 0.5-mile nature walk that begins at a beautifully restored turn-of-the-century pony-truss bridge. The facility is well-maintained and quiet, located on South Main Street (Highway 37) in Quitman.
