Government Point Recreation Site
About this site
Government Point offers an easy access recreation site on the roadside of Colleymount Rd. This site features a boat launch on Francois Lake and a large open space for larger campers and trailers. There are 5 sites and an accessible outhouse here. There are several fish species available for anglers in Francois Lake. Please be sure to purchase a fishing licence and consult the BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations Synopsis for limits, special regulations and closures: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/sports-recreation-arts-and-culture/outdoor-recreation/fishing-and-hunting/freshwater-fishing/region_6_skeena.pdf Additional Info: McClure Pit is located nearby with 6 camping sites and a day use area.
