Government Landing Campground is a small dispersed camping area in Huron-Manistee National Forest along the Upper Manistee River, named for Government Island. It offers 3 campsites plus 2 on the island, each with picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets are available nearby but no potable water, hookups, showers, or reservations. Open April 1 - November 30. First-come, first-served.
