Gouldsburg County Park Campground
About this site
Gouldsburg Park is located on the scenic confluence of the Little Turkey River and Crane Creek at 18649 Sunset Road, Hawkeye, Iowa. The campground features modern amenities including 29 electrical sites and a bathhouse. Several primitive sites are also available for use on the south side of the river. The park consists of 64 acres and offers picnicking areas, a shelterhouse, playground, and hiking trails. Visitors can enjoy fishing in the Little Turkey River and Crane Creek, kayaking, canoeing, and birdwatching. A trail goes down by the river and out to the Little Turkey River, with a separate trail through the woods on the northwest side of the property. The park is pet-friendly and open May through October.
