Gorges State Park Campground
About this site
Gorges State Park Campground offers 16 non-electric tent sites, 14 RV sites (some with electric, water, and sewer hookups including 50-amp full hookups), and 5 camper cabins. All sites feature picnic tables and fire rings (fires currently prohibited due to statewide burn ban). Modern bathhouse provides showers, flush toilets, and trash disposal. The park also has 8 primitive backcountry sites accessible by 3/4-mile hike on Raymond Fisher Trail. Maximum capacity 6 people and 2 tents per family site. Sites have driveways up to 50 feet. Additional Info: Managed by NC State Parks. Reservations required via ReserveAmerica. Pets allowed. Drinking water available via spigots. No dump station.
