Goat River Canyon Recreation Site
About this site
A semi-open site located down river from the scenic Goat River Canyon. This site is large and provides opportunities for group or individual camping, picnicking, fishing (cutthroat and brook trout), berry picking, and viewing of the canyon. A short hiking trail runs from the campsite to the canyon area near the bridge with several side trails to access the river. Additional Info: The site operates on a first come, first served basis. Spring and early summer conditions may present seasonal flooding hazards; use caution during this period.
