About this site
Goat Harbor Beach on Santa Catalina Island is a boat-in only camping spot. Goat Harbor is located on the northeast side of the island about mid-way between the towns of Avalon and Two Harbors. You can only get there by kayaking or boating from one of those towns. Sea kayaks can be rented in Avalon or Two Harbors and there are numerous other beaches for resting along this shoreline making it a safe route. There are no toilets in Goat Harbor and you’ll have to bring in your own drinking water. Due to dry vegetation all around, camp fires are not allowed. Reservations are required to camp at Goat Harbor. Additional Info: Goat Harbor features three campsites with picnic tables. It offers boat anchorage for 5-10 boats. No facilities including toilets or drinking water. Dogs not allowed.
