About this site
Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp is a hike-in backcountry camp located at 7,800 feet elevation in Yosemite National Park's High Sierra Loop. The camp sits at the confluence of Conness Creek and the Tuolumne River, adjacent to White Cascade waterfall and a natural swimming hole. Typically open June through September, the camp offers pre-set canvas tent cabins with meals (breakfast and dinner) and access to restrooms and purified water included. The hike from Tuolumne Meadows is approximately 8 miles with 920 feet of elevation loss. Glen Aulin is part of a 50-mile loop of five High Sierra Camps spaced 6-10 miles apart. Reservations are allocated through an annual lottery system, with some mid-season openings available due to cancellations.
