Glacial Lakes State Park Campground is located 5 miles south of Starbuck off State Highway 29 in central Minnesota. The park features 37 single-family campsites across two loops (Lower and Oak Ridge), with 14 sites equipped with 50-amp electric hookups. Campsites accommodate RVs up to 45 feet and include picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. The Lower Campground (19 sites) offers flush toilets, hot showers, and a dump station, while the Oak Ridge Campground (18 sites) features vault toilets and communal water spigots. Additional accommodations include 4 backcountry sites, 8 equestrian sites, 1 group site (up to 50 people), and 3 camper cabins. The park sits on a complex glacial deposit where prairieland and central hardwood forests meet, offering 16 miles of hiking trails, 11 miles of horse trails, and 6 miles of cross-country ski trails. Signalness Lake (56 acres) provides swimming, fishing, and boating (electric motors only), with canoe and kayak rentals available. A 5-mile paved bike trail connects the park to Starbuck. Winter activities include snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. Pets are allowed on leashes of no longer than 6 feet.
