About this site

Giant Gap Campground is located on the north west shore of Sugar Pine Reservoir in Tahoe National Forest. This campground is set in a cedar and pine forest overlooking the reservoir, which provides opportunities for swimming, fishing, kayaking and boating under 10 mph. It is near the Foresthill OHV Trails, but riding out from the campsites is not allowed. Additional Info: 30 sites including single, double, and triple sites. Vault toilets, drinking water, dump station ($6), bear lockers, fire rings, picnic tables, and grills at each site. Open April 30 - October 31 (or mid-May to October per some sources). Reservations available via Recreation.gov.
